Join us at convention! Learn, Act, Lead: Making Democracy Work in 2017. Convention will be held at the Greensboro Marriott Downtown on May 5-7, 2017.

FRIDAY EVENTS: Registration beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the hotel lobby. Workshops beginning at 2:00 p.m. Dine Around to favorite Greensboro restaurants.

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY EVENTS: Speakers on timely NC issues (announced soon). Networking lunch. Evening reception and banquet. Important League business sessions. Convention adjourns at 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

Registration for Banquet and Reception Only - $60

If you only wish to attend the banquet and reception on Saturday, May 6th at 6pm, the cost is $60. Please use the PayPal form below or send in a printable registration form.

Convention Details

Statewide Program Action Areas adopted for 2015-17 are: Fair Elections, Voter Protection, Health Care, Budget and Tax Policy, Education, Immigration, Environment, ERA Ratification by NC, Gun Violence Prevention (Added after Convention 2015), Voter Services (Added after Convention 2015)

In March, League chapters will be receiving the following information:

1.  The LWVNC Budget that will be voted on at Convention

2.  The LWVNC Proposed Bylaws Revisions to be voted on at Convention

In early April League chapters will receive:

1.  Information on Convention registration

2.  A report from the LWVNC Nominating Committee

3.  Detailed information on the Convention Agenda
