Clean Elections Lobby Day - June 17, 2009

Please save the date for NC Voters for Clean Elections Lobby Day on June 17th. The League is a founding member of NCVCE.

This will be the coalition's largest grassroots day of action in support of both the Council of State expansion and municipal authorization bills. Two years ago we had over 100 people come to our lobby day and hundreds more participated virtually. That grassroots push was essential in our last-minute win to create the Council of State program in 2007 and we anticipate that lobby day it will prove equally essential this year. Coffee will be served at 9am in the Legislative Auditorium (third floor), and a legislative briefing will follow at 9:30am. Free lunch will be provided for participants. Constituent meetings will occur all day.
