Directions to Peace College / 2011 LWVNC Convention

We look forward to many presidents along with others from local Leagues attending. This is a wonderful opportunity to be involved with the work and plans of the League of Women Voters in North Carolina, your League.

See your dues in action: The board of LWVNC has opted to cover all convention expenses for participants beyond the fees charged by Peace College. We hope this very reasonable price (for nice, new dorm accommodations or for attendance only) will lure many Leaguers to Convention.

The LWVNC Board of Directors is excited about this event and would like to get a tentative count of people attending by March 10, 2011. Each local League, please send a tentative number to Jo Nicholas at myrlejo@gmail.com. Reminder: Delegates include President or designee and one delegate for every 35 voting members of your League.

The state Board will be working on the state proposed program at our March board meeting. If your League would like any item to be included in the discussion, please send President Kathleen Balogh your ideas by the end of February.
